About HFN
The Henley Female Network was set up in 2023 by Harriet Barcella to bring together women for conversation, inspiration and conversation. As a life and mindset coach Harriet was already seeing on a daily basis how many women were so fixated on the things they ‘should’ be doing that they had lost sight of the things that brought them joy. She wanted to bring women together in a setting that was both joyful and inspiring to support and uplift one another and to build real, genuine connections that could transform their lives and their businesses.
At the same time, she wanted to indulge the amazingly 3 dimensional nature of women. She wanted to engage with the parts of women that cared deeply, that felt angry, the parts that were full of passion, the parts that were interested and interesting, the parts that wanted to laugh and be playful, the parts that wanted to be thoughtful and reflective. She figured that if she was interested in all these different things, maybe other people were too. And she was right!
At the Henley Female Network you can expect to sit share a table with a research scientist or an artist, a retired CEO or a doctor, an entrepreneur or an employee, a solicitor or a therapist, a refugee or an Olympian, a coach or an estate agent. Because the common thread isn’t what you do, it’s who you are. You come because you care about community, because you are fascinated by the topics, because you love making new friends, because you want to expand and grow - because you care about the world and the people in it.
As we expand out into workshops and a deeper business community, the Henley Female Network will continue to focus on connection first and on empowering women to be the person that they want to be.
